Cacau - Cultura
After many years of work a jewel is found in the ruins
The house was formally of the family Sampaio.
Constructed in the 1930's during the golden period of Cocoa.
It is a beautiful example of colonial arquitecture of this period.
In 2004 it was purchased by New Yorker Alan Slesinger.
With love and care the house was restored over a period of 8 years.
Half architecture, half archeology the beautiful house was revealed.
After 8 years of restoration Vila Rosa opened its doors as a posada and
rural tourist site.
